Why We Have Spiritual Warfare and Hard Times

Spiritual warfare and hard times happen for multiple reasons:

  1. The smallest reason, which happens the least amount of time, is when God sends something upon you.  This is done to test or refine you so you will become more like Jesus.  In this situation, you can choose to be refined and change, you can give up, or you can choose a bad path of negativity. If you refuse to be refined, then you will repeat this (or keep going around the mountain) until you do change or until you die.
  2. The next reason is because Earth is a place of choosing.  You must choose who you will serve.  And due to this, demons are always allowed to tempt you and test you to see who you will listen to: God or satan.  And sometimes demons are forced to be on you via assignments just to test you or to try to lead you astray.
  3. Your spiritual warfare is due to sin or curses. A lot of spiritual warfare comes from this, but not all of it.  And the spiritual warfare is always in the area of that sin or curse.  Once you repent and get rid of your curses and get rid of your legal grounds, then the attacks subside down to near zero.  However, demons will attempt to regain their lost ground, so they may continue to attack you in the area of your old sin.
  4. You are working for God.  God and Satan are at war with one another.  If you actively work to advance the Kingdom, then satan will work to frustrate you, make you despair, make you lose hope, or do anything else to cause you to stop working for the Kingdom.
  5. The biggest reason for spiritual warfare and hardship, which makes up the majority of warfare and hardship for people, is because they bring it upon themselves.

People bring spiritual warfare and hardship upon themselves in multiple ways:

  1. They do it through their belief system.  When your belief system does not line up perfectly with the words of Jesus, then it becomes a legal ground for demons to lead you astray, to attack you, and even turn your life upside down.  In reality, we are supposed to be walking in perfect love, and when we are not, then satan has legal grounds to be in our lives.  Things like theologies and the twisting of scripture will cause people to contest the words of Jesus.  And when this happens, satan will enter into your life.
  2. Satan is let in by our faith and superstition.  For example, If your faith says: “this bad thing will happen to me because of such and such reason,” then satan is allowed to cause a bad thing to happen when such a reason does happen.  If your faith says that all demonic attacks are good for you, then it opens a really massive door to allow satan to do whatever he wants to you.
  3. If people live in fear, then satan is allowed to cause those fears to come true.  Fear is satan’s faith.
  4. When people fail to honor God, people, places, and things like they should, then dishonor and destruction must fall upon them.
  5. There not only exists the Talmudic law, but there also exists the spiritual law, which God created.  This law dictates how you should be and what you should do so that you will be like Jesus.  If you fulfill the law, then blessings flow, and the Kingdom expands. However, if you break the law, then curses for disobedience will fall upon you, and satan is forced, by the law, to enter into your life, whether fully or in part.
  6. Spiritual warfare is greatly brought in by the things you say.  Including those things you speak over you and your life.  Gossip, accusation, and slander open large doors for your life to go bad.  Speaking negative things over your life will cause those things to happen.  The things you complain about will cause those things to happen in your life.  In fact, demons must cause those things you complain about to happen in your life.  Anything you say that contends with Jesus’ words will cause satan to be in your life.
